This moment.



This week’s topic for reflection is this moment. For a little while, be present in this moment. Right now. Relax and patiently just be present. Without needing to accomplish anything, just be present. Don’t hurry this.

Did you learn anything about this moment? Did you learn anything about yourself? Is it easy or difficult to simply be present in this moment. How do you distract yourself from being present? Try to not be in this moment. Try to hold onto this moment or find this precise moment. When is now?

We can only imagine the future and remember the past. Everything that happens is happening right now. Everything else is only happening in our imagination and this imagining is happening right now. Can you handle what is happening right now. When you become anxious, consider whether you can handle what is happening right now or not. Perhaps the anxiety is extra and not needed. You have a choice only in the freedom of this moment. This moment is free and creative. This is where you and all life happens.

This moment, while filled with everything, is completely unstuck and free to be influenced in any way. This freedom is where we always are. In truth it is how we are, that is free. Free unless we restrict or burden ourselves with memories of the past or an imagined future. This moment is where choice exists. Looking closer, this moment is ungraspable, impossible to pinpoint or hold onto. We also have the potential to be spontaneous in this present moment.
